- Gloria Fidelis On How It All Began
Phils Emjay: Welcome! What does Modeling Means to you?
Gloria Fidelis: Modeling to me is an avenue to express my inner fancy towards fashion. I love fashion bug to an average level and I always keep in mind to do the right kind of modeling.
Phils Emjay: That's Marvelous. How did you get into the world of modeling?
Gloria Fidelis: Ummm! the pageant ushered me in to modelling because I (then) kept myself busy with my artworks and really did not give it room (modeling).
Phils Emjay: Nice!
Gloria Fidelis: Thank you!
Phils Emjay: You have had an exciting career so far- you have met with some of the region's and state's greatest designers and walked in coveted fashion shows. What would you say has been the highlight of this exciting journey?
Gloria Fidelis: Breathtaking!...... I learn to make use of every second spent with these people to improve myself.
Phils Emjay: Interesting!..so, What else do you do aside modeling and your studies?
Gloria Fidelis: Hmmm!.... For now nothing except self improvement.
Phils Emjay: Smiles! You have been awarded and also known as Adamawa Miss Central. How excited you were for the Award merited?
Gloria Fidelis: Very!..... Though, the crown carries its own kind of responsibility, I gladly accepted it, hoping I can be a good role model to future Queens.
Phils Emjay: Wow! Exciting. Talking about challenges, you are currently studying Geography at the university and also doing artistic work with modeling at the same time. How are you able to combine these activities that require so much time and concentration together?
Gloria Fidelis: Wow!..... It is so distracting, at a point I was behind, and with that I deem myself. Now knowing the pressure and its effect I reduced the time I gave to other things and added it to my studies.

Gloria Fidelis: Well personally, I guess they are breaking boundaries, and though they face quite a difficult challenge compared to the female, they go more wide and visited various places...That's the African spirit.
Phils Emjay: I see!
Who is your favourite African designer?
Gloria Fidelis: Hmmm! orange culture.
Phils Emjay: Why?
Gloria Fidelis: OMG!...they are hilarious yet, Not to talk of the African touch in them.
Phils Emjay: You have shown support for Adamawa by participating in various states fashion shows. From your observations, how do you think we can continue developing the African fashion industry and how do we increase the international profile of our talented designers?
Gloria Fidelis: Simple! By proudly patronizing and showcasing our own able designers.

Gloria Fidelis: Awwww! I'm getting more courageous and motivating.
Phils Emjay: What career tips can you offer to other African models, both in Africa and abroad, looking to break into the international modeling scene?
Gloria Fidelis: Well on a personal ground, modeling is quite a way of life these days. We have various part of it, so to save every girl the drama of bad fame, always know your worth and do the right thing. Though out there nude modeling is OK but we know our culture and our background, promote creativity and not nudity.
Phils Emjay: Word! Because many girls want to model, they can easily fall prey to people who scam them. How can all the “model wanna be” girls out there tell if they are dealing with a legitimate agency?
Gloria Fidelis: Its simple, if the manager insists on nudity which they obviously do, say no. We know much money is attached to it buh a good name is better than riches we are told.
Phils Emjay: That's for sure.
Gloria Fidelis: Yes Phils.
