Interview: ''I'm trying my best to be the best Queen of all time''. - Miss Yola, Ladidi Ishaku Bameri Tells Us What She Has Really Been Up





23 years old Ladidi Ishaku Bameri  is a Biochemist graduate from Modibbo Adama  University of Technology, Yola and the reigning queen of Miss Yola. She comes from Adamawa State, the Northern  part of Nigeria and the second child in close-knit family of a sister and a brother. Growing up for this beauty queen was normal, according to her, she was the regular girl next door!

 Philsemjay: Have you always nursed the idea of being the Miss Yola queen while growing up or is it something that just happened to you as you grew?

  Ladidi: I wanted to make a change, I never wanted to contest for Miss Yola initially...I've always wanted to be a model but in tjis our archae society today...including size women are being steretyped,neglected and body shamed...I wanted to break the cycle and make a change...so I took the chance and got the form at dime minute and here I am today. 😊😊😊

  Philsemjay: Did you feel you stood the chance of winning after you saw your other counterparts?

 Ladidi: Deep Sigh! Yea, I never lost hope, I kept pushing.

Philsemjay: Amazing! Okay, Being in a line with different people from different background for the duration of the competition how was the experience?

 Ladidi: Horrible! I tried to see myself I put more efforst and seriousness, By not coming late when is due, do my best, play my role as a contestant, then do what is much expected of me.

 Philsemjay: Wow!!!  What was the feeling when your name was announced as the winner, how did you react?

 Ladidi: I was over the moon.. since when I stepped out on the runway,i can tell you, the love was crazy...the crowd loved me, people were just chanting my name...from there, I knew I was already the winner, in addition  the other counterparts taught they are skinny, the judges will favor them, i'm glad they did justice.

Philsemjay: In your own words, what do you think stood you out from the other contestants?

Ladidi: I'm beautiful, I'm intelligent and the most responsible

Philsemjay: How have you been coping with the task of being the queen, knowing what is expected of you?

Ladidi: I'm trying my best to be the best Queen of all times...I'm the first ever Miss Yola and i got to kee a good reputation....Presently I've started working on a project but you'll know about it letter on, and I've got the best manager in world 😊😊😊 shoutout to Musty.

Philsemjay: Good.  How will you like to be remembered after your reign as queen, what will you like your successor to know?

 Ladidi: I will love to be remembered as the thick beautiful hardworking Queen of all time.

Philsemjay: Ayeah!! What are the projects you’ve embarked on or is still ongoing since you’ve become queen(Miss Yola).

Ladidi: Laughs! i'ts been just a week,...stay chill! I'm on it, We taking Yola to the next level, the Entertainment sector needs Help!
Music is business, The Adamawa Home-Based Upcoming Artistes need to start making money out of it, Talents are wasting here, We have alots of them stored. again they should be original and stop being imitating and leaving under d shadow of international musicians, But that's not the project I'm presently working on though.

Philsemjay: Interesting! There are some girls out there looking to be like you, can
you give them tips on how to become a beauty queen?

Ladidi: They should be Real and stay Focus, Yeah.
